Well. This page WAS going to have MP3s, but now that we're trying to sell
cds, we think maybe that's a pretty DUMB idea. So I'm going to describe to
you our music. If you don't live in Perth and want to hear us, email me and
I'll do my best to get you some. We like to call ourselves a funk band, and while not entirely accurate, it's close enough to our style.

TRACK DESCRIPTIONs:
- 1. The Groove.
- A slow-ish funk piece, Michael does the vocal. An eerie swirling maelstrom of a start drops into a rock solid stomp groove (hence the title.) The main body of the track centres on the drums and bass (that's what you get when the bass player writes music). One of our favourites (writes the bass player and drummer).
- 2. Catatonia.
- Our first song, but only recently took its current form. Michael again does the vocal. Once known as "whoops we didn't mean to turn this into a metal song". Sort of rock-ish. A bit. (But don't tell anyone).
- 3. Mindless.
- Think smoky dive, in the USA in the 20s, and you're about half way there. Gentle jazz-blues, with bizarre vocal harmonies and some very cool brush work.
- 4. Eye Level Rage.
- Another early song, consists of huge mood swings ("PMSing" from James) between crushing rock guitar and light airy skanking with a slappapoppa bass line. Lots of fun. Glenn sounds like Michael Jackson.
- 5. Dynamite.
- The ONLY song (thusfar) where Loss plays lead. Fairly standard 80's rock fare. Glenn still sounds like Michael Jackson.
- 6. Say What You Want.
- Bright, Happy funk, with bold trumpet lines, and a few little grunty bits here and there. Listen for the hoots during the bass solo.
- 7. Hindsight.
- General "Oh my god she dumped me but she was a bitch anyway" Material. Sweet flowing ballad, phased backing guitar, arpeggiated chords, with a heavy 3 chord chorus, and hopefully some vocal harmony (if we're good enough, so probably not).
- 8. 1st Movement from the Harmonious Haggis Rondo.
- One of Glenn's solo concoctions. Gentle Santana-esque guitar solos, with piano, cello, and octaved bass backing. Impossible to pull off live.
- 9. Chameleon.
- The Herbie Hancock classic, revamped and reshaped for the 90s. Extraordinary fun, despite the presence of only 2 chords.
- 10. Untitled.
- Funky swing sixteenths "Music To Shag To" with a tight, hard, crunchy ending.
