FYSLEXIC DISH by Dyslexic Fish
Our Album "Fyslexic Dish" will be available hopefully in early February 2000,
we'll try to get House Of Wax (in Hay Street, on the West side of William
Street) to sell some for us, or you can contact us privately for an order
(at a slightly cheaper price). The cd will contain a lot of funk, a bit of
pop, and some heavier stuff too.
1st April 99
Ok so we changed our minds again. We don't want to release the cd how it is
right now, so we're going back to (at the very least) record the vocals
again, and completely eq and mix it again.
Also we're playing in the Fremantle Eisteddfod.. which isn't usually a place
for contemporary bands.. but what the hell.
26th February 99
We're about to have 100 cds professionally printed, the final mixdown takes
place this weekend, and if everything runs smoothly the cds should be out
around the second week of March (I hope no one's looking forward to it too
much because it just keeps on getting delayed!)Also, there's a few rumours going around about some exciting new gigs, new
contacts, new managers, new (insert good thing here). So watch this space.
December 98 to Jan 99
Recording for our first album, Fyslexic Dish, is COMPLETE! Now we only have
to mix and master it... uuh that's the scary bit.
December, 1998
Keyboardist Nic Bovell joins the band after a short but successful
evaluation period during which we could return him free of charge.
6th December, 1998
Glenn and Joel won indvidual awards for outstanding musicianship at the
Gozzy Rock Competition.
5th November, 1998
Dyslexic Fish wins 'Best Tape' for the Gosnells Rock Competition. We will be
playing in the finals for the event, on the 6th of December.
30th October, 1998
We are entering the Gosnells Rock competition, known as Gozzy Rock. We don't
yet know if we will be playing.
